Brian Laundrie Had ‘Black Beard and Black Mustache’ Says North Carolina Hiker

Dennis Davis, the hiker who claimed to see Brian Laundrie over the weekend, described him as having “a black beard and black mustache” which was “very short cut, very thick.”

Laundrie has been missing since being named as a person of interest in the homicide of his fiancée Gabby Petito, 22. On Monday, the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina released a 911 call from Davis, who claimed to have spoken with Laundrie, 23, along the border of Tennessee and North Carolina on the Appalachian Trail at around 12.30 am on Saturday. In the call, Davis said the man asked him how to get to California and was “talking wild.”

In an interview with NewsNational Now published on Monday, Davis, who is an engineer by trade, said he was “100 percent confident” that the man was Laundrie.
