Halle Berry, Barry Jenkins Among Honorees for Celebration of Black Cinema and Television

Jennifer Hudson and Anthony Anderson will also be honored at the fourth annual event, presented by the Critics Choice Association.

Halle Berry, Barry Jenkins, Anthony Anderson and Jennifer Hudson are set to be honored at the 2021 Celebration of Black Cinema & Television.

Berry, who makes her directorial debut with the November Netflix film Bruised, in which she also stars as disgraced MMA fighter Jackie Justice, will receive the career achievement award. She is the first and, so far, only Black woman to win the best actress Oscar.
