Peanuts Holiday Specials Will Air On Broadcast TV This Year

Critically acclaimed Peanuts holiday specials will return to broadcast television this year after Apple and PBS team up to finally make it happen.

The iconic, family-friendly Peanuts television specials will be airing on broadcast TV this year, according to a press release. Indeed, while it appears that For Auld Lang Syne, the first Peanuts Holiday special since 2011’s Happiness is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown, will be exclusively airing on Apple TV+ on December 10, 2021, many of the classics will be available to watch on broadcast TV. As detailed by Comicbook.com, Apple and PBS have teamed up to ensure that PBS and PBS Kids will be airing many of the classic specials, including It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and A Charlie Brown Christmas this year.
