Liverpool are reportedly on the fence about handing a new contract to Mohamed Salah based on the attacker’s age.
According to the Mirror, the Reds are ‘cautious’ on offering the winger a fresh deal with Salah turning 29 this summer. The Liverpool star’s current contract expires in 2023, which would make the forward 31.
Whilst Liverpool have handed long-term deals to the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Jordan Henderson in recent months, the club seem reluctant to match what Salah is demanding. The ex-AS Roma star has been in blistering form this campaign.
