Maya Vander has shared that she may leave the Netflix reality show, Selling Sunset. A lot of fans would tune in if she got her own show.
Maya Vander appeared on Selling Sunset as a supporting cast member, and plenty of fans think that she is an ideal candidate for a spin-off. Many of Maya’s scenes were cut from season 3 in order to make room for the drama surrounding Christine Quinn and Chrishell Stause. However, a lot of the show’s viewers argue that Maya deserved more screen time. While she has an extremely interesting story to tell, Maya has been put in the back seat by Selling Sunset producers.
While Selling Sunset expands its cast each season (Amanza Smith joined season 3 and Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela joined season 4), Netflix may worry that the cast is getting a little too crowded. Rather than give up on one of its beloved agents, Selling Sunset might benefit from creating a spinoff show starring one of its cast members. Maya is a fan-favorite on the show, as she’s rarely the center of controversy but still provides entertainment. From sharing pregnancy news onscreen to complaining about Jason Oppenheim showing favoritism to Mary Fitzgerald, Maya shows her value onscreen.
